Any cakes can be ordered and paid for by phone, using a credit card.

 

Couture Cakes

14 days minimum notice is required for novelty cakes, 7 days for a standard cake shape and design, with 3 month notice required for a wedding cake. In popular months May, June, July, August it is better to book in 6 months in advance.

All of the cakes in the online cake portfolio have code numbers below them, so if you like a particular design you can quote the number when contacting Nicola Jayne. It is possible to have an original cake design created to suit your requirements, please contact Nicola Jayne to discuss your design and share your ideas so that she can create something ideal for the occasion.

 

Photographs

We can print out in edible ink a photograph which will be incorporated into the design of your cake. Just bring along the image (in JPEG format) and we will choose the most suitable shape for your cake.

 

Ingredients

Fruit Cake - rich, moist fruit cake containing the finest selected fruits and ingredients, matured with a hint of brandy, covered in almond paste and iced with soft icing. Or, if you prefer, Traditional Royal Icing.

Sponge Cake - moist Madeira cake layered with raspberry jam and butter cream.

Lemon Sponge cake - with lemon buttercream.

Rich Chocolate Cake - for chocolate lovers only, this rich chocolate cake is filled with a chocolate fudge buttercream, chocolate ganache (made with Belgium chocolate and fresh cream) or chocolate fudge.

Alternative Cakes - Carrot cake with a cream cheese filling, Toffee Cake with a caramel filling.

 

Delivery Options

Couture cakes can either be delivered by Nicola Jayne or collected from our shop. Delivery charge depends on your location. Please call us for details.

As all our cakes are made to individual requirements the prices below are only a guide.

Novelty sponge cakes from: £50.00

Celebration sponge cakes from: £30.50 (6” square – approx 15 portions) Fruit cakes from: £48.00 (6” square – approx 30 portions)

Cupcakes from: £1.90

Individual mini sponge cakes from: £3.80

A 50% deposit is required on all celebration cakes when ordering, the balance being paid on collection.

A £50.00 deposit is required on wedding cakes when ordering, the balance being due 1 month prior to wedding date.

Payment can be made over the phone using credit/debit cards.

All cake stands are included in the price of your cake but do require a returnable deposit.( the amount depending upon which stand is required.)
